The day i first opened my eyes
She was the first to smile at me..
My tears had no reason..
But i was the reason for her tears of joy..

She held me close to her heart
Felt every heart beat of mine..
The sound that made her love me even more..
Looked at me with so much pride..

Days...months.. years pass by...
As i grow up in this big bad world..
She warns me but i ignore her and wander away..
She bears it all in pure silence..

When I'm in pain, she cries with me..
She does everything it takes to see me happy..
She fills my glass when its half empty,
Knows my ways like no one else..

As i move on, the only thing i realize,
There's no one who could love me the way she does
No matter what i do or how i am..
She'd always love me for who i am..
